The Past

There Is Something

There is something about a guy, with plain shirt. There is something about them saying, "I am worth to give a shit but I am not trying to show if off." All casual and simple. There is something more about guy in a band with plain t-shirt jumping on stage. There is something even more undeniably attractive about them, resonates upon their beauty mess. There is something about them bound me in awe. As if I am under a spell. There is something about guy in a band with plain t-shirt and has a tattoo by his right side of his neck or on his arms slightly hidden underneath the sleeve. And who actually can play the instrument with genuine passion and creates good music. That leaves nothing in mind at the moment but "I feel like marrying him." I know it is only the moment that speaking. But it is all worth to think.

I'll See You In New York

The air is mist. All I know the air is mist. The rest gathered as a pack of illusion. Crowds of people passed by, the traffic light keep changing color in rhyme controlling the moves of every feet synch with conscious mind. Yes, they are awake. All of them, but us. We are deep asleep within teenage wonder. Foolish wrapped in raging emotions. Whilst flaws are seem to notice, standing at its peace gracefully showing off their trace. Painting smudge of desperation, into a whole idea of being unwanted. Loud bass and drum rolls has fail to obey their duty to distract an ideal infection due to a screenplay or else. You are not here. But I am. I am here with what I see. With what I touch. With what I feel. Only the idea of you that stays. That plane, oh that bloody plane about to take you away from home. From me. The state of nothingness seem desirable within the absence of merry. You, it's always been you. Along with irony, I surrender. Because all I want to hear is one simple phrase, something exactly sounds like,
"Come here."
Then I'll see you in New York.

Soon.

Music Edition: Owen Hooper

This, kind of a long story. But this how it starts. A friend of mine, Arky, sent me this link of a video about Jakarta made by foreign student, whom currently joining a student exchange programme in one of state high school in Indonesia. Being far from home, that particular video had successfully made me homesick. Finished with one video, I seek for more. Turned out he has a couple videos about Jakarta. There was this one, he had himself recording his own original song called Bread as the soundtrack of the video.
Not exactly fully aware I have been repeating the video more than three times, I noticed the song was rather ear catching. Then that how it was I stranded upon this myspace of his, Owen Hooper. I just can not help but to share because this definitely worth a notice!

His songs are mostly simple soft-acoustic. Easy to listen, some of them are tend to sound a bit dark in a way yet you can still hear life within the songs. For Hands Held on Gravel Path, it sounded as if his voice is meant to sing this tune! This song is perfect for getting lost between your thoughts while wandering off by the street. Moving on, there is something about She Hits, Asleep. bound me speechless. I can hardly describe, mixture between The Black Keys with Death Cab for Cutie, maybe? To be honest, this is not the kind of song would be in my 25 most played playlist in iTunes personally, but hell, this surely climb on to the top 5. If I really have to choose my favorite among all, I have got to say, things run tight between Hands Held on Gravel Path or She Hits, Asleep.

However, in a couple songs, taking The Little One and Let There Be Love as examples, the quality of recording still quite low. The echo behind kind of intrude the overall value. I believe, if its recorded in a proper studio or such, the songs would be flawless! This boy sure know how to write and sing a song! He should sign a record label. Just saying. So, spare three minutes to check his myspace page and take a quick listen. Then I'm sure you're going to spend the rest of half an hour (or more) glued to the playlist!

The First Day of Spring

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Being in England, having sun during the day is hell of a precious thing. I grow fond of the sun even more in England. Everything intensifies, remember?

I am on my so-called-Spring-break now. I have got two weeks off before I begin the last term of my foundation course. Damn, time passed too fast. Things been up and down, to be honest. As always, I assume. This holiday, is much better than the last Christmas. I have not got much things to do, but I think, I have learned, life is about acceptance you see.

I have accept everything, the whole package of living alone -- abroad. Thus, most of the things are easier now. Though mood swings are inevitable. There was a moment where I could barely feel anything positive. Almost as if I was giving up; although I was not sure I was playing any game.

But the sun is here, everything is alright. It always is.

As I went to Hyde Park the other day. I was giving myself a little time off from Bournemouth. The routines. The familiarity, in to this, massive busy city, London. I found it quite easy to fall in love with London, and dislike it in a second. The crowd was overrated. But come on, it's London. One of the most lovable cities in the whole wide world.

The sun was on the highest peak; there was nothing as beautiful as bright sunny day here in England. I was in the place I would like to be. Hyde Park. The sun. Good company. And a book to read. That day was beautiful. It was the first day of Spring.

Lots of love, x.

Doctor Who
(The Doctor and Rose)

This has been keeping me content for the last three weeks. All I want to say is, I think there are so much more than this human race. We just have not seen it yet.

By the way, happy St. Patrick's day! x
